Twitter, Marketing and the Movie Industry

Since it´s launch in 2006 Twitter has generated a lot of buzz and mutated from “the hot new shit” to a mainstream communication tool.

If you are not familiar with Twitter i recommend searching google and you´ll find plenty of information what Twitter is and how you can use it – in short it´s a kind of micro-blog, you can post 140 character messages and the people that follow you can read them.

A lot of companies are constantly trying to figure out how to use Twitter for marketing and pr, some succeed, most of them fail – but why?

Myself, live

It´s not big news that twitter is the next big thing on the web, but until now i haven´t found a use for it.

Since my time schedule is quite a chaotic one (shooting for days / weeks straight with NO time and then days / weeks of nothing to do, which is not exactly the case but you get the point) it´s quite hard to keep a regular blogging habit.
I tried to compile a list of interesting blog posts once a month and that went quite well, but i think you can imagine how exhausting it is to open the RSS client after a shooting and digging through 200+ new posts (quite many of them that need at least 5 minutes of reading concentration).
